Be captivated by the otherworldly and fascinating glow of the Alocasia cuprea 'Red Secret'! Nicknamed the "Jewel of Borneo," this exceptional houseplant immediately draws the eye with its thick, rigid, and deeply sculpted leaves that resemble metallic shields. The great secret of its elegance lies in its striking play of colors: its young leaves emerge in shimmering copper-bronze hues before maturing into a dark, glossy forest green, all beautifully contrasted by an underside of rich, mysterious burgundy-purple. With its compact and graphic habit, it brings a touch of exotic and modern luxury to your decor.
Feature: Rigid, highly textured leaves with a spectacular copper metallic finish and a dark purple underside.
Light: Bright but strictly indirect light (essential to preserve its unique metallic sheen and prevent leaf burn).
Watering: Allow the top third to half of the soil to dry out between waterings. It prefers slightly moist soil but is particularly sensitive to excessive standing water.
Safety: Toxic to pets — contains calcium oxalate crystals, keep out of reach of dogs and cats
