Set your plant collection ablaze with the flamboyant and spectacular Epipremnum pinnatum 'Yellow Flame'. This rare and highly coveted variety, originating from Asian tropical forests, distinctly stands out from classic pothos. Its juvenile, elongated, and lance-shaped leaves are true natural works of art: they display splashes, streaks, and marbling of an exceptionally intense golden yellow and lime green, mimicking the silhouette of small luminous flames. Unlike the standard golden pothos, this variety transforms spectacularly with age. If you provide it with a moss pole to climb, its leaves will significantly enlarge and develop magnificent natural perforations and fenestrations similar to those of a Monstera.
- Light: Bright, indirect. Excellent clarity is essential to preserve the stability of its "Yellow Flame" patterns and stimulate rapid growth. Too little light will diminish its golden contrasts, while direct afternoon sun will scorch its foliage.
- Watering: Easy and moderate. Let the top third of the soil dry out before watering thoroughly again. This is an extremely forgiving plant that tolerates neglect well, but hates constantly soggy roots.
- Humidity: Normal to medium. Adapts surprisingly well to standard household climates. Offer it higher humidity and a moist pole if you wish to accelerate its transition to its mature fenestrated form.
- Safety: Toxic. Contains calcium oxalate crystals irritating to mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of dogs, cats, and young children.
