This collectible plant of rare elegance stands out with extraordinary waxy foliage that looks like a hand-painted picture. Its leaves emerge in spectacular shades of ruby pink and neon bronze before maturing to reveal a creamy yellow heart edged with deep forest green. With its trailing or climbing habit, it adds an immediate high-end touch to your decor. In time, it may reward you with sumptuous bouquets of white, waxy, intensely fragrant porcelain flowers.
- Light: Bright and indirect. Excellent light is essential to preserve the brilliance of its creamy variegation and stimulate the pink coloration of its new leaves. Avoid direct afternoon sun to prevent scorching its foliage.
- Watering: Allow the potting mix to dry out almost completely (about 75%) between waterings. Its thick, succulent leaves store water, making it very tolerant of occasional neglect. Use a very well-draining potting mix to avoid excess moisture at the roots.
- Humidity: Normal. It adapts wonderfully to a standard home environment. However, it will appreciate a little boost of humidity to speed up its growth rate.
- Safety: Safe and harmless for animals. Your cats and dogs can coexist with it peacefully.
