Bring a true botanical rarity into your space with the magnificent Philodendron lynamii offered in a 4-inch pot! Native to the tropical forests of Peru, this highly coveted collector's species is famous for the dramatic color change of its foliage. New leaves emerge with rich bronze, coppery, and sometimes vibrant pink hues, offering a striking contrast before maturing into a deep green, thick, and beautifully lustrous finish.
With its elongated heart-shaped leaves and elegant burgundy red stems, this philodendron with its structured habit brings an immediate modern and sophisticated jungle ambiance to any room.
Why you'll love it:
- Color evolution: The continuous transition between the coppery hues of new shoots and the rich green of mature leaves creates a unique visual spectacle.
- Sought-after collector's plant: A rare variety that stands out significantly from classic philodendrons on the market.
- Creeping and vigorous growth: It develops a magnificent and compact habit that fills out beautifully over time.
Quick care tips:
- Light: Thrives in bright but always indirect light. Good light is essential to encourage the vibrancy of its new colorful hues. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent burning its delicate foliage.
- Watering: Allow the top third or surface of the soil to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly and then let drain well; it appreciates loose soil but dislikes standing water.
- Humidity: Prefers medium to high ambient humidity (60% and above). Regular misting or proximity to other plants will help it develop perfect leaves.
