Brighten your collection with the cheerful and tangy hues of the Syngonium podophyllum 'Kiwi Delight' (often called Syngonium 'Siam Kiwi' or 'Kiwi')! This rarely elegant variety instantly catches the eye with its arrow-shaped foliage of magnificent lime green and ice cream colors. The true spectacle lies in its delicate central veins and edgings that take on a soft pink hue in good light, evoking the vibrant, contrasting colors of a tropical fruit. Easy to care for, its bushy and compact habit forms graceful vines when mature, ideal for adorning a shelf or a pretty hanging basket.
Special feature: Asymmetrical lime green and cream foliage enhanced with highly contrasting bright pink veins.
Light: Medium to bright, but strictly indirect light (good brightness is essential to preserve its tangy kiwi coloration and stimulate its pink highlights).
Watering: Allow the top third of the soil to dry out between waterings. It prefers slightly moist soil but particularly dislikes having its roots constantly waterlogged.
Safety: Toxic to pets - contains calcium oxalate crystals, keep out of reach of dogs and cats.
