Highly sought after by enthusiasts, this plant reinterprets the famous prayer plant with rare elegance. Its oval leaves display a splendid pattern of lime green and forest green velvet, enhanced by characteristic brown spots. What makes it magical is its asymmetrical variegation of a dazzling and luminous cream yellow that crosses its foliage in a totally unique way on each leaf. True to its reputation as a "prayer plant", it offers a fascinating spectacle by vertically raising its leaves at dusk, only to reopen them at dawn. With its creeping or beautifully trailing habit, it cascades perfectly down a shelf or from a hanging planter.
- Light: Medium to bright, always out of direct sunlight. Good indirect light helps maintain and intensify the contrast of its creamy yellow variegation. Direct sun would irreversibly burn its delicate foliage.
- Watering: Regular. Keep the potting mix slightly moist (like a wrung-out sponge), but never soggy. Allow only the top inch of soil to dry out before watering generously again. It ideally prefers filtered or room-temperature water that has sat out.
- Humidity: High. It loves humid environments, which prevent the tips of its beautiful leaves from browning. Place it near a humidifier or group it with other plants to create a microclimate.
- Safety: Safe! Like other members of its family, it is 100% non-toxic and safe for pets (cats and dogs).
