The Alocasia 'Maharani' is a magnificent, compact variety highly prized for its unique, graphic foliage. Its small, thick, heart-shaped leaves sport a superb metallic grayish-green color in the center, deeply marked by an intensely velvety, leathery, and embossed texture, as well as well-sculpted, contrasting veins. Carried on lovely greenish stems, this plant forms a dense and compact dome that provides a very beautiful textural effect in hanging baskets.
Care tips:
- Light: Provide maximum bright, indirect light to preserve the unique metallic gray hue and the texture of its foliage.
- Watering: Wait for the soil to be quite dry for most of its depth before watering again, as its fleshy roots are highly susceptible to overwatering.
- Humidity: It loves high ambient humidity. It will thrive fully with constant, good ambient humidity.
