The Begonia 'Medora' is a magnificent, compact variety highly prized for its unique and graphic foliage. Its small, thick, and asymmetrical angel-wing-shaped leaves sport a superb olive green color at the center, deeply marked with numerous contrasting splashes of brilliant silvery white. Borne on pretty, branching, bamboo-like stems, this plant forms a dense and compact dome that offers a beautiful textural effect in hanging baskets.
Care tips:
- Light: Provide as much bright light as possible, but without direct sun to preserve the well-contrasted silver patterns on its leaves.
- Watering: Wait for the soil to be quite dry on the surface before watering again. It enjoys regular watering but fears excess stagnant moisture.
- Humidity: It adapts perfectly to the normal ambient humidity of our homes, but appreciates a slightly humid atmosphere.
