The Ficus elastica 'Tineke' is a magnificent, compact variety highly prized for its unique and graphic foliage. Its large, thick, leathery leaves feature a superb dark green color in the center, deeply marked by contrasting cream-white borders and marbling, with delicate pinkish hues on new growth. Supported by lovely, sturdy stems, this plant forms a dense and compact dome that offers a beautiful textural effect in a hanging display.
Care tips:
- Light: Provide it with as much bright light as possible, including a little gentle direct sunlight to preserve its magnificent contrasting colors and cream variegation.
- Watering: Wait for the top few centimeters of soil to be quite dry before watering again. It prefers a slight lack of water over excess moisture.
- Humidity: It adapts perfectly to the normal ambient humidity of our homes.
